Project Grants

Local councils apply for and receive grants from the North Carolina Reading Association that enable members to collaborate with local organizations and address literacy needs in their communities. In 2012-2013, local councils worked with the following organizations in their communities.

Moore County-Family Services, Moore County-Habitat For Humanity, and Community Presbyterian Church

Onslow-Onslow County Partnership for Children

Robeson-Southeastern Regional Medical Center

Triangle-Habitat for Humanity

Twin Rivers-Little Red Bookmobile
